This cake is a new addition to my repertoire. It’s a hazelnut cake, that stands tall, filled with vanilla frosting and hazelnut confit spread over it. The cake is delicious, made with Piemonte roasted hazelnuts. The flavours are subtle yet the hazelnut taste comes through nicely. The cake is 4 layers tall and serves 10
I also had some time to play around with new decoration ideas and colours. These may vary slightly in the long run, due mostly to the fact that I enjoy trying out new things and loathe repetition.
