Toying with design ideas –

This cake is a simple chocolate cake. Filled with a milk chocolate ganache and vanilla frosting. However this is not about the cake, it’s about the vibrant colours, the style. I enjoy being given carte blanche to decorate. Pick your flavour and leave the rest up to me. It allows me to get as creative as I wish. I can keep it simple yet effective, or a little more elaborate with that extra oomph.

I relish in trying new mediums and techniques to decorate. Change is good, it keeps me on my toes and motivated. I feel it’s important, in this business, to be original and venture out of the comfort zone every now and again. It’s also good to have a style and work on improving it and innovating it. It’s a little bit like a trade mark, when someone sees the cake they’ll know it’s mine!
